Free Trial Period
Kontrable offers a 21-day free trial to all new users. During this trial period, you have full access to all features of the Platform without providing a payment method. No credit card is required to start your free trial.
This trial period allows you to evaluate whether Kontrable meets your contractor management needs before committing to a paid subscription.
Conversion to Paid Subscription
At the end of your free trial period, if you wish to continue using Kontrable, you must provide a valid payment method and subscribe to a paid plan. By adding your payment method, you acknowledge that you have fully tested and evaluated Kontrable, and you accept that the Platform works for your contractor management needs and use case.
Your subscription will begin immediately upon acceptance of payment, and you will be charged according to your selected plan at the time of conversion and on each renewal date thereafter.
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee starting from your first payment (not from the start of your trial). If you are not satisfied with Kontrable within 14 days of your first paid subscription charge, you may request a full refund by contacting our support team.
After the 14-day money-back period, all subscription payments are non-refundable. Once you have used the Platform beyond this period, you acknowledge that:
- You have had sufficient opportunity to evaluate the Platform during the trial and guarantee period
- You are satisfied with the functionality and features of Kontrable
- You understand how to use the Platform for your contractor management needs
- You accept the terms of your subscription and payment obligation
- All payments after the 14-day guarantee period are final and non-refundable
Renewal Notices and Automatic Billing
We will send you a reminder email 7 days before each subscription renewal date notifying you of the upcoming charge. This notice serves as your final opportunity to cancel your subscription before the renewal charge is applied to your payment method.
If you fail to cancel your subscription before the renewal date, we will automatically charge your payment method according to your selected plan and billing cycle. By allowing the renewal charge to process without cancellation, you explicitly acknowledge and accept:
- Your authorization for the renewal charge to be applied
- Your acceptance of the terms of your subscription for another billing period
- Your full responsibility for the charges incurred
Renewal charges are non-refundable under any circumstances. You bear full responsibility for monitoring your renewal dates and cancelling your subscription if you no longer wish to use the Service.
Duplicate Charges and System Errors
In the rare event that a duplicate charge, accidental billing error, or system failure results in a charge that should not have occurred, we will refund the erroneous charge upon investigation and verification. Such refunds are provided as a correction for system errors only and do not constitute a refund under the terms of this Refund Policy.
To report a potential duplicate or erroneous charge, please contact us immediately with documentation of the charges. We will investigate and resolve the matter within 14 business days.
Fraud Prevention and Chargeback Protection
We maintain strict fraud prevention measures to protect both our users and our Service. If we detect fraudulent activity, unauthorized transactions, or suspicious payment patterns on your account, we reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate your account immediately
- Refuse to process refunds for fraudulent transactions
- Pursue legal action to recover damages
- Report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities and payment processors
Chargebacks filed for payments rendered for legitimate use of the Service will be considered fraud and will result in immediate account termination. Any refund of legitimate charges through a chargeback will be reversed, and your account will be permanently closed with no further service access.
Account Termination and Violations
We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or permanently terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or violate the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy. Violations include but are not limited to:
- Using the Platform for illegal purposes or fraudulent contractor relationships
- Tax evasion, money laundering, or other financial crimes
- Unauthorized access or misuse of the Platform
- Attempting to circumvent security measures
- Harassment, abuse, or threats directed at other users or Kontrable staff
- Selling, reselling, or sharing account credentials
- Using the Platform in violation of applicable labor, tax, or employment laws
- Misrepresenting contractor relationships or business authorization
Upon account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service, no refunds will be provided for any charges already incurred, including current subscription payments. Any remaining subscription balance will be forfeited.
Cancellation and Service Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account and requesting cancellation through your account settings, or by contacting us. Cancellation requests received before your renewal date will prevent the next renewal charge.
Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for cancellations occurring mid-billing cycle.

Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
